Trips&Workshops

Anyone can be part of our exciting trips. Just email and register your name for future workshops. Prior experience is not usually necessary, as we tailor your trip to you. Here are examples:

Skopelos, Greece

for printmaking workshops with Basil Hall, invited tutors and Pam Boyer each year. We kicked off with twenty artists and a number of their partners in 2012 for two wonderful 10 day workshops on this beautiful island during the Greek summer. Since then, Basil and his wife Pam have hosted workshops each year. In 2019 there were 12 participating artists with us on Skopelos to work with wood engraver and printmaker extraordinaire, David Frazer. Unfortunately the 2020 workshops with Basil and David were cancelled owing to Covid, as were the 2021 workshops. Roll on 2022!

Mount Borradaile

(West Arnhem Land) for painting and printmaking camps with Mandy Martin & Basil Hall in 2008, 2009 and 2011. This remote location has some of the best rock art, wetlands, rugged escarpment and wildlife to be found in the Northern Territory.

Baniyala

in East Arnhem Land for Nomad Art Productions’ Djalkiri, Blue Mud Bay artists’ camp and project. Basil and Mats collaborated with selected artists including John Wolseley, Fiona Hall, Jörg Schmeisser, Djambawa Marawili and Judy Watson on location and back in the Darwin workshop.
