Prior experience is not usually necessary, as we tailor your trip to you. In the last few years we have been to:
Mount Borradaile (West Arnhem Land) for painting and printmaking camps with Mandy Martin & Basil Hall in 2008, 2009 and 2011. This remote location has some of the best rock art, wetlands, rugged escarpment and wildlife to be found in the Northern Territory.
Skopelos, Greece, for printmaking workshops with Basil Hall and Steph Bolt in 2011 and 2012. Twenty artists and a number of their partners registered in 2012 for two wonderful weeks on this beautiful island during the Greek summer.
Baniyala in East Arnhem Land for Nomad Art Productions’ Djalkiri, Blue Mud Bay artists’ camp and project. Basil and Mats collaborated with selected artists including John Wolseley, Fiona Hall, Jörg Schmeisser, Djambawa Marawili and Judy Watson on location and back in the Darwin workshop.

Wow, Basil, I have just finished reading Sasha Grishin’s book -John Wolseley Land Marks. It belongs to a friend and I have to relinquish it. I haven’t been able to find a copy yet, but I’ll keep trying. What a fabulous collaboration that must have been for you all. Heather from Tjukurba stayed with me a week ago; it’s been great – she was at the opening of my little exhibition at the Stonehouse Gallery in Warrandyte.
Great to see all your activities – I have now subscribed to your news letter.
Cheers
