Basil Hall Editions is currently running its first workshop in the Canberra studio. First cab off the rank for this year is a colour woodblock workshop for four participants from Canberra and Sydney. At left, Don is making some adjustments to the fine block he drew and cut on the first day. Each artist has cut and hand printed at least 4-5 images on Day 1, enabling us to work on the dry prints with coloured pigments and chine collé tomorrow. These workshops can happen any time (weekdays or weekends), by arrangement with Basil. All we need is a group of four and a medium: etching, collagraph and some relief printing in Braidwood; silkscreen and most relief printing in Canberra.
