Apparently the full moon only appears on the Summer Solstice once every 70 years, so that was it for most of us! Pam and I sat at one of our favourite Skopelos tavernas on the paralia (waterfront) and watched the Palouki mountain intently for its appearance last night during dinner. The skill of the artist is seen in the placement of the bicycle name and the French sail branding within this idyllic scene! Oh, all right. I only just noticed this now. Our 2016 printmaking group missed this lovely occurrence by a whisker, but some may have still been in Europe to see it. Back in Australia, we lost a good friend today.
